ON-CALL DRIVER

Hours: Part-Time, on-call Monday-Friday primarily working during the hours of 6:00AM-6:00PM

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Delivery Locations will be in the tri-state area of Wisconsin, Upper Michigan, and Illinois.
  • Operates company vans or light weight transportation vehicles.
  • Loads/unloads materials, goods, and equipment between various destinations as assigned.
  • Prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely and accurate transportation.
  • May be responsible for vehicle maintenance and presentation.
  • Relies on instructions, pre-established guidelines, and procedures to perform the functions of the job.
  • Must be licensed to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a “satisfactory” driving record.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Driver’s License: Class D - Regular (Auto, Light Truck, Moped)
  • Age 18 or older
  • Pre-employment background check, commercial driver fitness physical, and drug screen

Required Education:

CNC MACHINE PROGRAMMER
Compensation:
  • Earn up to $70K per year
Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree in Machine Tool Technology or BS Degree in Manufacturing Engineering is desired.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in CNC Programming.
  • Proficient utilization of Surfcam, Mastercam, Edgecam, or Gibbs software to create CNC programs.
  • Solid working knowledge of manufacturing techniques, and blueprint reading skills, including GD&T.
  • Strong technical, communication and computer skills.
  • Experience with quoting machine cycle time and costs.
  • Familiar with designing machining fixtures for metal components and hydraulic fixtures.
  • A highly skilled individual who can utilize project management skills to bring machined products from the quote stages to production.
  • Hands-on CNC machining with Vertical and Horizontal Milling Machines or Lathes (Makino, Mori Seiki, Haas, and Mitsubishi). Fanuc control experience required
  • Foundry and casting experience
  • Lean Manufacturing experience.
Job Description:

  • Develop and maintain manufacturing process to support production.
  • Program logic controller, network, and integration.
  • Lead and participate in process improvement projects.
  • Specify, procure, and deploy tooling for the machining of castings.
  • Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, ergonomics, and work force utilization.
  • Determines parts and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

LEVEL 2 CNC MACHINIST
Responsibilities:
  • Independently operate vertical and horizontal CNC milling machine centers in a precision metal cutting environment.
  • Must be able to perform inspections using calipers, micrometers, etc. to verify conformance of machined parts to customer specifications.
  • Read and interrupt blueprints, job orders, tooling instructions and customer specifications involving dimensions, and tolerances.
  • Ability to deburr machined parts.
  • Maintain all associated tooling and set TLO’s.
  • Calculate and set controls to regulate machine off-sets.
  • Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities to reduce cost and improve product quality using problem-solving skills.
  • Complete and maintain appropriate records.
  • Maintain a neat and clean work area.
  • Follow all safety and PPE requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with Team Mates, Production Supervisors, Production Control, Manufacturing Engineers, and Operations Manager.
Required Skills:
  • Blueprint reading skills are required.
  • Must possess the ability to apply basic math skills, specifically with fractions and decimals.
  • Must possess strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of the working qualities of aluminum, steel, and cast iron.
  • CNC machining including selection of tools.
  • Use of related inspection equipment to confirm quality of machined parts.
  • Have an understanding of G and M Code.
  • Programming experience.
  • A team player who can work independently.
Education Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 4 years of experience in a production machine shop including experience operating vertical and horizontal CNC milling machine centers is required.
  • An associate degree or CNC technician degree preferred.
MACHINE OPERATOR LEVEL 1
Summary:

Operate manufacturing equipment in accordance with plant policies and procedures while ensuring smooth operation.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Operate manufacturing equipment including CNCs
  • Perform quality compliance checks as directed
  • Perform tooling changes as needed
  • Assist in process documentation
  • Ensure clean and safe work area
  • Communicate with other employees
  • Assist in production as necessary
  • Enforce all company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
  • Basic blue print reading
  • Problem solving
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Exemplary manual dexterity
  • Basic knowledge of computers
  • Ability to use basic QC gages and hand tools; caliper, thread gage, pin gage, micrometer, angle and pencil grinders, deburring instruments, t-key and standard allen wrenches, combination and crescent wrenches, channel/vise/standard pliers, air/standard/torque wrenches, nut driver, electric drill, and club/rubber/ball peen hammers.
  • Ability to use various holders; cutters on shell mill, shrink fit, end mill, collet, and custom.
  • Ability to decipher various tooling; cutter, engraver, cutting tap, cavity tool, grinding head, insert drill, treepan, tap, thread mill, and bore.
Working Conditions:

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work evolves lifting of materials and product up to 50 lbs. Use of proper safety equipment is required; this includes but is not limited to eye safety glasses and hearing protection. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.

Pay Grade:

Level 1 or Entry Level operators will receive base rate of pay of $12.00 - $13.00/hour.

PROCESS & MANUFACTURING ENGINEER
