QUALITY CONTROL

AMI takes pride in producing the high quality parts our customers have come to expect. Our ISO 9001 certification shows our continued effort to maintain a world class facility. We use three servo driven CMMs and one manual CMM to make sure we are making products per our customers’ blue prints. Our quality department also has an optical comparator and an Etamic bore gauge in their lab.

At our CNCs, we use Process Control cards which outline how our customers’ parts should be made step-by-step. Our staff utilizes an in-house developed touch screen system to record data and determine process capability.

AMI’s on-site testing lab allows us to offer our customers an extra service most of our competitors can’t. We are capable of performing fully functional hydraulic testing with data acquisition of up to 4,000 PSI at 30 GPM. We also offer bubble leak and leak decay testing that is required in the industry.
